MFS Retirement Advisory Services is an independent financial services provider registered with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). We provide healthcare consulting, umbrella retirement fund and group risk advisory services to employers and their employees.
With more than 30 years of industry experience, we negotiate and source suitable solutions from a broad range of reputable service providers. Our objective is to deliver practical, well-structured employee benefits that balance protection, value and ease of administration.
MFS is a Licensed Financial Services Provider under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act of 2002, committed to delivering transparent, innovative, and client-focused solutions.
We apply a proven process to analyse existing or proposed employee benefits. We recommend a formal benefit review at least every two years to ensure that benefits, costs and member needs remain current and relevant.
As independent advisers, we compare options across administrators and product providers. We then present the employer with a comprehensive proposal and recommendation that reflects the organisation’s requirements and the evolving employee benefits environment.
Note: Fund and benefit analyses are undertaken at the employer’s request, free of charge and without obligation.
We provide member education at key stages of the employee benefits journey:
We present the fund structure, benefits, cover and available choices to all staff. This enables employees to ask questions and understand how employer and employee contributions are allocated. The same induction is provided to new employees when they join the fund.
When a member leaves the fund, we meet with the member individually to explain the personal options available on withdrawal or retirement.
We support the day-to-day administration of the fund, including the addition and removal of members; claims; applications; follow-ups; healthcare, death, disability, retirement and withdrawal queries; online portal issues; investment performance and investment choice queries; and contribution calculations.
We believe that a group retirement fund should seek to deliver appropriate long-term investment returns for members, while managing risk prudently and keeping costs competitive. Our approach recognises that members have different financial circumstances, time horizons and risk needs.
Our investment process is built around five disciplined steps:
We partner with employers to provide employee benefit solutions that are clear, relevant, sustainable and responsive to the needs of their people.
